A very warm welcome from myself and all the staff at Worlebury Golf Club
Situated on the top of Worlebury Hill with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel towards the Welsh coast and across the town of Weston-super-Mare to the Mendip Hills. Our superb Harry Vardon designed parkland course is playable virtually all year round thanks to our excellent green keepers.
The clubhouse offers a relaxing and sociable setting to enjoy meals and drinks.
I have been a Member for around 20 years and I feel very proud and privileged to be Worlebury Captain for 2018.
Worlebury members are generous in their support of local and national charities. The chosen charity for all the sections of the club this year is Freewheelers (Emergency Voluntary Service). Freewheelers provide a free of charge out of hours motorcycle courier service to the NHS and are entirely funded by public donations and sponsorship. They transport Blood, Breast Milk, X-Rays, Specimens and other medical supplies to all Hospitals in the South West. Freewheelers EVS is run entirely by Volunteers and were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2008.
Here at Worlebury we have vibrant Men’s, Ladies, Seniors and Junior Sections. We offer a very warm welcome to all new members, golf societies and non-members who want to enjoy a round of golf. Our Professional shop, the Catering Team and the Bar and Office staff are more than willing to accommodate your needs.
Worlebury Golf Club has a very busy and active social section with many events planned for 2018 including our Summer Ball in July. Full details are available in the Members Handbook.
Please join us to share the Worlebury experience of our wonderful club and course.
